# accounts-payable: runbook

## Twice a week (Tuesday and Friday runs)
1. `pnpm judge <this-dir> <case> --record` for each new invoice. The machine pays alone only what
`thresholds.yaml` allows; everything else lands in `queue/`.
2. `pnpm queue <this-dir>`: the AP lead works what waits for a person.
3. `pnpm sign <this-dir> <case-id> --label <label> --by <name>` closes each one. A disagreement with
the machine gets a note; the note is the most valuable line in the record.

## Monthly
- `pnpm measure <this-dir> --record`. If the miss rate is over `measure.max_acceptable_miss_rate`, the
machine stops acting alone until the steward has read why.

## When the AP lead leaves
The successor starts from this directory, not from a handover meeting. They label the blind set
(`eval/blind.csv`); their agreement with the record is the handover. See `obligations.md`.

## Recovery
The record is plain text in git. Restore the directory and re-run `pnpm status <this-dir>`; the
loop's state is derived from the evidence, so nothing else needs restoring.
